Saturday Rant : Pahang, Malaysia

All journeys eventually comes to an end, the same could be said for finite human lives. This year, three of my uncles passed away due to old age and I reflected onto myself if I’m given another 30-40 years growing old would I do things today differently. If I can select one area I want to improve, it would be relationships & networking.

As I mentioned in previous posts, it is never my strongest suit dealing with people. Its a learning curve for me to work out chaos and organize people for their roles and tasks to achieve an assigned goal. I learned to convey what I meant properly and professionally without bursting into emotion and forced learn using emojis/emoticons when text messaging.

Following sports statistics, attending weddings of distant relatives and all other ways to blend in and maintaining networks are the inevitable parts of embracing the new normal of the modern societal norms. I said no to some activities, mostly I try to fit into my schedule or make effort to show up late.

Its a lot of work and wish me luck finding a sustainable methodology suitable for me.

Cheers 🥂 MFR
