My inquisitive children.

🚨Spoiler alert 🚨 if you are used to reading positive and cheery articles – stop 🛑 now and turn back. This ain’t one of those.

I got my CSWIP3.0 certificate renewed today – my credit card 💳 cleared payment of 150 quids on the third attempt. Was declined twice last week due to insufficient credit balance.

I’m not complaining..

I am grateful that I have enough to raise a family under a roof above our heads with food on the table everyday.

The children are healthy, met my parents last week – then talked to my in-laws yesterday.

My left ankle is getting better, I hiked the hill behind my house this morning carrying an umbrella – ☔️ it was raining cats and dogs.

My phone is more than two and a half years old, still getting the latest OS updates and works fine for blogging, LinkedIn, taking photos and work emails.

There’s a long list of wants too.. this and that. Those shiny things with bells and whistles. Being a parent, I’ll have to delay or forget them to prioritise other things.

My PlayStation 4 is waiting for a cooling fan replacement for me to finish Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima’s debut title since leaving Konami.

I’m not complaining..

There are too many people whom are less unfortunate, unable to change their fates or don’t have access to means for social mobility like education, nutrition, career and religion.

Thanks to my parents, Rahiman and Supinah I led a much better condition now than I was growing up. I hope my children will too.

I’m not complaining, I accept the current challenges and I know what I want next and have the mindset to achieve them. I’m not worried of what others think of me, different people remember me differently.

I will get out of this, this too shall pass.
