I used to live nearby a recycling facility and landfill during my internship for my bachelor’s degree many years ago, although short it left a profound impression on me about the way we buy, use and throw stuff – the whole cycle.

To reduce landfill areas or items going there we can do our part on any of following:
♻️ Recycling: Sort and recycle materials like paper, plastic, glass, and metal.
♻️ Composting: Dispose of organic waste through composting instead of trashing it.
♻️ Reducing Waste: Cut down on single-use items and choose products with minimal packaging.
♻️ Donate or Sell: Give away or sell items you no longer need instead of discarding them.
♻️ Buy Responsibly: Choose products with eco-friendly packaging and support sustainable brands.
♻️ Upcycling: Repurpose items creatively to extend their lifespan.
♻️ Electronic Waste: Recycle old electronics at designated centers to prevent hazardous materials from leaching into the soil.
Small changes collectively make a significant impact, let’s use stuff better starting today.
