I noticed after 3 months of daily short hikes early in the morning I sweat less or not at all, probably because of the cold weather or my body is not burning as much fat as it used to. I wake up at the same time but exert less energy (I’m not measuring this or even have the means to do so).

Its time to move to a harder target like hike faster or longer so the workout challenges increases and I could see the next tier benefits. I noticed certain apps like Apple Fitness or Strava or Runtastic offer monthly subscriptions where you’ll select a plan and a virtual assistant will help you reach goals step by step.

I’m also worried about Ramadan month coming so I’m reading online, asking people around on how I can continue to hike despite fasting in the day for a month and how to make it work. This is a known issue previously that affected my workout streak, this time I’m going to find a solution or work around it.

To be honest, I didn’t have a clear plan for my daily workouts – the intention initially was to get out of the house and sweat and get fitter. I believe this is the root cause and now I need a plan. Using the Deming Cycle of PDCA, we can start at Check (C) meaning I don’t have prior data so what is the situation now, formulate an immediate plan to Act (A).

The same can be said for my daily writings, I moved to posting on LinkedIn app to this website and from every 2-3 days or week to daily. I think I also need a plan for this especially the topics to write instead of adhoc in the spur of the moment kind of getups.

Here’s to celebrate of reaching to a certain level or milestones and moving up targets and planning to achieve more.

Cheers 🥂 MFR
