Abdallah designed and Rizaimi built them.

Abdallah comissioned these beautiful jars for our prayer rooms in the original model shop in Nusa Cemerlang as a decorative piece.

Inspired by the real jars available in most middle east and eurasia bazaars, the khat and pattern were drawn by hand on grid paper.

Most Legoland scaled sculptures are designed from 3D CAD then exported to the Brickbuilder software for layer by layer layout building and gluing.

For the public, there used to be support from Lego group for a software called Lego Digital Designer, users used to be able to create designs and order directly the elements plus the building instruction similar to the sets.

Nowadays, there’s Bricklink Studio that able to do all LDD does with marketplace, community and forum. This means it’ll be perpetually incremented and supported by enthusiasts that share a common hobby/profession and passion.

It’s been ten years since I left the model shop for the current company but the learnings build on with each step – just like a Lego house or the newly released Concorde 10318 jet set.

Cheers, MFR
