It’s a personal milestone that I take pride in whenever I share with Emerson new joiners whenever the question about career progression, learning curve, opportunities for education comes up.
I’ll share them my grandfather stories of how this was done when I joined, what changed for the better or for worse. In my speeches some names of alumni’s regularly mentioned because of the valueable lessons learned from them – I’m always indebted to.
There was Irawan for ESH training sessions, Azlina for Lean and Moment of Truth, Prema for Kaizen and CI, Ryan Yap for the books he lent me, Tukijan and F.J. fot hiring me, Clement for giving me a second chance to prove my worth and many others that at a certain point influenced me to become the current version of myself.
It’s still unbelievable that I reach this point considering the rough patches for the past few years but I’m grateful for my support system at work (you know who you are) that’s always there for me.
I hope you’ll find things you are proud of too. Here’s to more anniversaries, work or others.
Cheers 🥂 MFR
Happy 10th and cheers to more! 😉
Thanks Caryn!
