The phone trying to look up information online on the porridge and condiments.

I am a believer that AI is necessary and is helping humans progress further just as the bicycle, telephone, mass production and other step increments of technology advances previous civilisations. There’s a reason for flagship smartphones today are more expensive than the PC, I guess its because of the computing power, machine learning capabilities and potential.

Siri recognized the porridge correctly but the condiments it pulled up an asparagus cooked with butter (close enough) and then I typed in the description of the photo as the correct answer from human feedback which is a bowl of plain porridge with the usual condiments you’ll get in the Sentosa JB area consists of groundnuts, dried coconuts, salted egg, sauteed water spinach and some fried fermented soybeans.

Another example of ML is the phone learns how you type your texts and email and tries to autocomplete sentences. I use keyboard shortcuts to teach the phone when I need to use symbols for example +- will become ± when spacebar is pressed because I need to text or email tolerances to teammates or suppliers quickly and the laptop PC is not nearby.

Let’s catch up later.

Cheers 🥂 MFR
